TGP LLC was established in 2021 by our founder, Alton Glenn, after he recognized a growing need for sustainable, affordable, and accessible land ownership opportunities across Texas. At Texas Greener Pastures, we believe land should be more than something sitting untouched behind a gate. It should be something people can walk, build on, care for, and pass down. Our goal is to preserve the rural character of Texas while making land ownership more realistic, approachable, and meaningful.
Our mission is simple: to give more people the opportunity to own their own slice of Texas heaven; land with space, freedom, purpose, and a future.
Our office headquarters is located in Houston Tx but we have land all over the Lone Star State. From Central to Eastern to Southern Texas, we offer a wide variety of rural country land . Check out our inventory to find land near you!
We believe land should be cared for, not stripped down. We don’t believe in overdeveloping, overcrowding or forcing the land into something it was never meant to be. We make only the improvements needed to create access, usability, and long-term value, while preserving the natural character that makes rural Texas so special. Keeping parcels large enough for real rural use, yet small enough to make ownership more attainable. That means room to homestead, farm, ranch, hunt, explore, raise animals, build traditions, and enjoy the land the way it was meant to be enjoyed. That's what we call Texas Land, the Texas Way.

When we begin a project in a new area our first priority is to listen. Every rural community has its own history, character, needs, and way of life and we believe development should respect that. Our goal is to help rural communities thrive by providing affordable access to land and giving more people the chance to experience the pride, freedom, and responsibility of landownership.
Before we ever bring a property to market, our team spends the time needed on-site and with county officials reviewing layouts, regulations, restrictions, lot sizes, access, and long-term usability. We do this because the final product matters. It should serve the people buying the land, but it should also respect the people already living there. At Texas Greener Pastures, we believe responsible development should strengthen a community, not burden it.
